The State Honor Band hearings will be on July 26,2009 at TBA in San Antonio, Texas. The hearings start at 8:30am.

The TBA Board of Directors has decided to conduct a TBA Professional Development Session at La Joya High School on September 12, 2009. The session will address both High School and Middle School levels.

Congratulations to the Brownsville - Vela Middle School band directed by Mario Sarmiento who advanced to the State Honor Band Contest for 3C middle schools!

Congratulations also goes out to Roma High School, Roma Middle School, and Veteran's Middle School (Rio Grande City) for advancing to State.
